Tanya Walliker
BSc (Hons) MNCPS
Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Finding someone to talk to during difficult times can be intimidating and confusing. My aim is to make this process as comfortable as possible offering reassurance, information, and support.
We all have periods in life when things can become difficult to cope with, we may feel depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, frightened and alone. Talking to a counsellor offers you a safe, non-judgmental environment for you to explore your feelings and to talk about anything that may be confusing, painful, or uncomfortable. It is my belief that healing can begin to take place once someone is truly able to share their own inner experience and to be heard, accepted, and supported.
The therapeutic space provides you with the opportunity to safely explore any difficulties. I will help you gain awareness and clarity of your thoughts, feelings and experiences thus helping you to move away for restrictive patterns and towards new ways of thinking and a more fulfilling life.
If you are unsure about whether counselling is right for you, I offer a free telephone consultation to talk through your needs and answer any questions you may have about therapy and the support I provide.
Please contact me if you would like to talk about but not limited to the following:
- Anxiety or stress
- Depression, feeling sad
- Grief, Bereavement and loss
- Pregnancy loss & infertility
- Abuse/Trauma
- Low self-esteem and self worth
